We are at another harvest host site. It is a vineyard, Grapefull Sisters vineyard.

The Grapefull sister’s family has lived on this land for generations. Since the 1700’s. I believe they farmed it, but their great grandfather used to make wine. They use muscadine grapes, which are indigenous to this area. The bus at the Grapefull sisters Vineyard RV park. Most harvest host sites give you a place in the parking lot, or a nice field. This place you get an actual site with hookups.

The tasting room. Amy is serving, she is one of the sisters. We tasted and bought a bottle of dry white muscadine wine. They also have wine floats- sherbet with sweet wine. Since I had never even heard of a wine float, I had to try one. This is Amy making some.

Sue with a wine float. Yum. We were going to split it, but John didn’t like it, too bad I had to finish it. Muscadine grapes on the vine.
