We finally finished up at the repair place. The sun came out, it was a beautiful drive to the gulf coast. We got a great spot right on the water at Keaton Beach. A middle of no where place with a few vacation homes and lots of fishing and not much else. Very quiet and beautiful.
Before leaving Wildwood we stopped at the Russell Stover outlet store. Dangerous place. We got a place right on the water at The Old Pavilion RV Park.
The beach at Keaton Beach
John biking on the pier at Keaton Beach, a seat on the beach
The only restaurant in town, the Hot Dog Stand. It is known for its fried oysters. A storm surge of 12 feet came thru here in 93, took out most of town. All the new houses are on stilts.
a flock of birds over head. Another stilt house, two stories of stairs and one of house.
How the wild life see us. . . Pelicans over water
The water is so clear you can see the bottom. Those are scallop shells in the bottom. John on the dock at the RV park, waiting for sunset.
Too many clouds for a whole sunset, but it was pretty nice. Pelicans on the pilings.
The Christmas lights are still up here. John at the Hot Dog stand for dinner. Fried oysters and blacked fiddler crab claws.
The crab claws with butter and hot sauce.
