We left the Lochsa and traveled to Missoula, MT.
On the way out we stopped at the DeVoto Memorial Cedar Grove. Old growth cedars. Mr DeVoto studied Lewis and Clark and camped here most of the time. Very pretty large trees. The sign said to hug the tree, John followed directions.
Flowers seen in the grove. Welcome to Montana. When we went to northern Idaho we passed into the pacific time zone, back in Montana we are back in the mountain time zone. I can’t keep track of all the times.
We parked at the Jellystone RV park. Last time through we stayed at the park across the street, it has more trees. But it was full this year. I think Jellystone ended up full too. I couldn’t talk John into riding on the Yogi wagon ride.
John took me out to a fancy restaurant for my birthday. The Silk road, a tapas restaurant. I was yummy and fun. They even gave me a complimentary birthday cake. Cheese cake topped with raspberries and nuts.
The bus at Jellystone. We saw this motorhome at the park. Florida recycled teenagers.
Grass and blue sky at the RV park, and pre sunset.
There is lots of smoke in the valley, makes the sky rosy.
Roses John got me for my birthday. What a man!! We left Jellystone and headed east.
Saw this on the highway. John’s name is John not Jonathan, but this is still spooky.
