Baby swallows in the tunnel on the bike path. Really cute. The light was gorgeous on the path. I was heading to John and Mandy's for dinner.
Dinner at Mandy and John's. Good food and great company. Sunset with the moon.
Goody bye glass studio, it is shut down for the year now. We are the road again for the beginning of our 10th year of traveling. We are camped here at Big Bend Campground on the Poudre River. Great to be back in the bus.
The first thing we did was sit in our lawn chairs and read. It was 103 degrees on our thermometer when we left Fort Collins, much cooler here. There are bears at this campground, the last sighting was Aug 9th.
It was so nice outside we had dinner on the picnic table and enjoyed sunset. Sunset from our campsite.
Noku Crags as we go over Cameron Pass. We went through Walden, the Moose Viewing capital of Colorado. Heavy side street traffic.
We were going to camp at a campground on top of Gore Pass, but it was closed. So we drove a little further and found a nice dirt road to boondock on. Boondocking is free place, no hookups. Very quiet and dark site. New moon in the sunset from camp.
Cool view off the highway toward Wolcott. We are now camped at Martha and Jimjim's house in Carbondale, Colorado. Harry, their nephew is staying in their camper till his rental is ready soon and John and Mandy are camped next to him. They are on vacation for two weeks and among other things are looking for a house in this area. We are all plugged into the house. Camp Martha/Jimjim.
I am almost done with this basket. Still need to put beads around the center. The center is a bead I got at the Bead Expo in Vegas this spring. Very colorful. John cooking sausages for dinner.
Dinner on the back deck with Mandy, John G, John M, Harry and Martha. Sunset tonight with the moon between the clouds.
