Mid 70's and sunny.
The lake was smooth, so went for a paddle. John unloading my boat with the new hullavater rack, assists with 40 lbs of the weight.

Lots of bird life. I came upon these mallards and they exploded, sea gull, flock of canada geese, and a grebe.
We went to town to the TK Gallery to see Trisha, a woman I met in Las Vegas at the glass expo, and her gallery. was fun to see her and her work. She even bought some of my wrapped jewels to sell there. John waited a the Wolfe Hotel for me.
We headed up to the Snowy Range through the aspen belt. We hiked around Silver Lake as the weather clouded up and it got windy.

Lake Marie with a frozen paddle boarder. Some flowers still. Cinquefoil, bump on a tree, queens crown, yarrow, a fish a fisherman caught in the lake, fireweed, and an aster.
Some more aspen on French Creek Road. Historic Brush Creek Ranger station and visitors center.
Inside the Brush Creek visitors center is this display of animal tracks and scats. You can tell the grizzly bear poop by the bear bells! After our soak in the free Hobo hot spring we had a pizza at the Snowy Mountain brewery. They were having Oktoberfest and the waitstaff dressed as Germans. This guy was hilarious.
Beautiful, historic, downtown Saratoga in the evening light after dinner and we soaked in the free Hobo hot springs. Sunset back at camp.
