Our flight for Death Valley does not leave till 7 pm. We had to kill some time so we went to the beach. I can see why this area is so crowded, the beaches are beautiful!
The Beach. There were tons of these poisonous Portuguese men of war washed up on the beach. You had to watch where you walk.
We are feeling better after the accident, after all we still have each other. And don’t forget the food! The warm weather and sunshine are very soothing and healing.
Love this postcard, reminds me of why we come south in the winter. John does not like the beach. He says because he gets all sandy and he does not like to walk on a incline to walk by the water. . . He can be lured to the beach when it is spring break. . .
John on the beach, checking out the scenery. He took me out to a nice lunch with a beach view to lure me away from the sand. Great people watching from this spot and a good lunch. (don’t forget the food!)
Between the road and the beach there is a nice walk. There is this wavy wall. After dark it is lit up with a neon line of light. The locals call the whole path the Wavy Wall. John on the wall, and looking the other way down the wall.
‘Rough job, the beach police. Looking out the airplane taking off at Fort Lauderdale.
Sunset over the gulf from the plane. Welcome to Las Vegas. Brain dead and exhausted after a 5 hour flight. Tomorrow my sister will pick us up and we will go to Shoshone, outside of Death Valley.
