Another beautiful sunny warm day.
John spent the day smoking a pork loin for our patio party. Covid vaccination side effects decreased the size of the pot luck. But a good time was had by all and the food was delicious.
Not much sunset, but the evening light was beautiful. Sitting around our 'bonfire' after dinner. The bonfire was a solar light in our fire pit, we did not get a fire organized.
Two agaves sending up blooms in front of the colorful Shoshone Village office sign. People from the campground enjoying the warm springs pool.
I walked to the recycle bins on the south side of town. A storm was moving in. It was spitting snow at me! Coming in for a landing, grapple snow!! it melted right after it hit the ground, street repair, dried palm leaf, brittle brush flowers already, and the glove on the post.
It was freezing. It was 52 degrees and the wind was blowing 25 mph with 50 mph gusts. And it was spitting snow. This is how I dressed to go out. The sun dropped below the clouds and got this nice light on the Resting Springs range under storm clouds.
Last light on Shoshone. Snow squalls dropping down.
Snow squalls glittering in the last light. The storm past by sunset and left these clouds.
Sunset tonight. 72 degrees today, sunny and hardly any wind. Boy do we know have a good time. Judy D and I applying primer to the lattice. Now just need to paint white paint on top of the primer and touch the blue back up.
I started this new basket with a fused glass center I made. The glass has a clear background, but looks pretty good with the sky behind it. These guys know have a good time. Screaming with joy and running!
Torren and Ruud, soaking wet and happy. The water was still on the pond with the campground in the background.
Beautiful clouds during the day, but they ended up blocking the sunset at the end of the day
