78, cloudy and rainy.
Today we hiked along the Deschutes river in Tumalo park and Riley's ranch with our friends Diana and Rob't. It was lovely. Phacelia, river icon, and penstamon.
Trail along the river. Wild yellow iris reflected.
Sunflowers, lupine, arrow leaf balsam root, wallflower, ponderosa pine, and paintbrush. Diana and Rob't cooked us a wonderful dinner. Always fun to see them.
Eastern Oregon is very green now. It rained as we neared our destination. I thought I was seeing a funnel cloud, but it went away.
We are at Crane Hot Springs. Fancy glamping teepees at the hot spring. John getting a hydromassage.
Filled up on fuel in Bend. Not too bad. Crane Hot Springs. Cabins right by the hot pool.
Bridge at the edge of the hot spring. Side view of the hydro massage and waterfall.
A tent on a flat bed trailer, What ever works. Our spot at Coyote Flats RV park at Crane Hot springs.
Crane hot springs. It's about the water. We have not been here in at least 15 years. They have added more cabins, lots more camping, an RV park and improved the pool. Very nice. It has been raining really hard. The lady next door sunk a back wheel deeply into the mud. They had to dig her out, but she is ok now.
It rained pretty hard her most of the day. There was a small hole in the clouds at sunset and this was it.
