We hiked to the Fire Wave last spring, but it was raining, we went back to see it in the sunlight.

We had lunch a the top of the bowl of the Fire wave, it was almost like watching TV watching the others people taking photos of themselves on it. In the middle photo I told this big group to go down and ride the wave, so here they are. There is even a guy laying and paddling.

Interesting shadows , moss, shapes and textures, flowers – desert rue, two mariposa lilies, bush with white flowers and curly leaves.
