Yesterday at the end of the day I hobbled out to the beach. The sun was out and could not stand to stay in. Today it was mostly gray out but we got a sunset anyway. There is this cool viewing station in the campground with a view of the river and ocean. John was viewing from one of the other windows.
Sunset was lovely. John got me an early Christmas present, an Instant Pot. He made brown rice and a then some broccoli. Still learning how to use it.
I am miraculously healed. We hiked Sweet Creek today. 3 miles round trip, but it took us forever because it was so beautiful we had to stop and stare and take photos.
John's camo coat did not camo him here. The moss and the fall colors were stunning.
The falls, moss, waterfalls and fall colors were stunning.
They did a great job on this trail with this boardwalk. Not sure you could make it up this far without it. John's camo coat blends in here. Moss and falls.
There were lots of these huge old growth trees. This one is a cedar. with moss covered limbs. Mossy trail.
There was moss on everything. The fall leaves just highlight it.
Sunset on the beach from the campground.
