January 30-February 3, 2019 Shoshone, California

68 degrees and sunny.

I went on a hike today with my friends if the Tecopa Hiking Club. We walked on the rail bed of the Tonopah to Tidewater north of town. Lunch stop with Alison, Toni, Kelly, Michael and Susan. Beautiful day. View looking east. Love the  clouds.

On the way back we walked along the Amargosa River and passed this swimming hole. Sunset in beautiful  historic downtown Shoshone.

Sunset closer to the house. Nice afternoon light.

The sun lit up some virga coming down from the cloud.  Last ,light on the  Nopah range.

Sunset. The lower part is a close up of the sunset, notice the Ring forming over the peak.

Wondering around in the desert look what I found! There is no way there is electricity this far out. Three chairs, 2 TV's, a bar and a BBQ. Rainy today. I went to the writers workshop. Lots of fun. I can actually sort of write if given assignments. We met in the library at the RV park.

Saw these blooming at the vole habitat today. It is rainy. I am working on a new dress, making it from a table cloth. So far so good. The blue is the tablecloth fabric and the white is the pattern, it should look like that when done. I love my singer feather light. I learned how to sew on my mom's. I got this on Ebay.

All done except the hem. Judy D teaching Mary, Susan and I to oil paint today.

My masterpieces and the classes masterpieces.

It was cloudy and windy today. I went for a hike right after class at sunset. Beautiful colors.

The real show was the colors on the surrounding terrain and the dark clouds.
Actual sunset.
