High of 53 degrees, mostly cloudy and some RAIN!
I already posted today. But then there was sunset. Sunset behind the Oregon Motor Coach Center sign. Sunset on this gigantic storm cloud right over the coaches. I see a face in the clouds, it is kissing the bus.
Sunset and a couple of really big pine trees. This coach is not ours. I can tell because it has a satellite dish. Otherwise it is almost identical to ours. I live that about this place. Country coach went out of business about a week after we got our coach. So there are no Country coaches younger than 11 years ago. You don't see hardly any on the road, but when we come here there are lots of them, even ones like ours.
The end of the sunset beside the huge storm cloud. We went hiking with Leslie and Scott at Thurston park in eastern Springfield. Waist deep grass.
Lots of wildflowers. Buttercup, mallow and ox eye daisies. John, Leslie and Scott up ahead.
They are still ahead. Paintbrush, wild iris in ferns and lupine.
It rained for a bit. John's camo coat blends right in. Rain.
The sun came out once and awhile. Love the oak trees. Thimble berry, sedum, buttercups and wild vinca.
Sunshine , flowers and oaks.
We started happy hour first in Scott's space and finished in Leslie's space. Then ordered pizza for dinner.
Of course the clouds went away for sunset.
