July 2-4, 2021 Cody, Wyoming

88 and partly cloudy. It actually rained a bit.  Very refreshing.

We had a yummy dinner at Billie's tonight. We ate outside. The breeze was nice and there was a refreshing sprinkle. John, Glenn, Billie and Jackie.  Sunset tonight.

We had lunch with John and Vickie Helms today. Good to see them. The guy in the middle is just some random guy who wanted to be in our photo. His date took the photo. I had dinner with my old friends. Jackie, Suep, Billie, Donna, Cathy and Deb. We had a great time and the food was good. We all hung out in high school and here we are 50 years later.

We went to the 4th of July parade this morning. The color guard riding by. The Cody High School marching band was one of many, many bands.

Hope Sheet dressed in pink with her pink poodle have been in the parade as long as I can remember. More horses.

Wyoming Outdoorsman. All of the emergency vehicles lights and siren running.

Some mountain men. John Deere antique tractors.

Cody Fire arms  and the Gunrunner.

Many floats with animals and guns.

Native Americans. The DQ float with their ice cream cone mascot. Where the Cowboys go after the Rodeo!

Statue of Buffalo Bill in the crowd listening to the bag pipe concert. About 45 years ago I bought my first house. It was one of these town houses. It was $10,000. One just sold for $199,000!
