July 4-5, 2021 Cody to Riverton, Wyoming

I started another masterpiece. The center is a dichroic glass frog I cast. It is about 5 x 5 now. John cooked a great dinner for us tonight. Glenn, Billie, Jackie and John.

Billie, Glenn, John and Jackie. Sunset tonight over the RV park.

Billie and I went to the fireworks. Great show. Last view of Cedar and Rattlesnake mountains ,which are just west of Cody, reflected in Beck Lake.

Raining when we drove through Meeteetse, dry in Thermopolis. Wind River Canyon.

Wind River Canyon. We are staying at the Jim Moss Arena north of Riverton, Wyo.  You can tell it is in Wyoming, it has bullet holes in it. It is a campground as well as an arena. There is no rodeo today, just camping on the ranch.

John chatting with Jim Moss about where to park. The bus parked at the Jim Moss Arena.

Some live stock at the ranch. We have this great weather vane on our pedestal. It is a painted putty knife. We didn't pay enough attention to it, the wind changed directions and ripped the strap off our one awning.

A prairie dog in front of a gigantic sprinkler on the near by farm field. A few more rows on the masterpiece. it is now 8 x 7 inches.

It was windy, then these dark clouds blew in and we had a big thunderstorm. Jim Moss arena.

The bus with the storm clouds after they went over. Big storm. Looking back at the ranch after the thunderstorm.

You can tell we are in Wyoming--sagebrush. Hay fields to the west of the ranch.

The tipi at the ranch after the big thunderstorm. Some calves to practice roping with and a saddle.

Fields of grass and corn waving in the wind. Sunset at the ranch.

Wyoming state flag, the wind is blowing the wrong way for the Wyoming Cowboys flag, a buffalo hide on the bathroom wall, western wind chimes, and a prairie dog.
