High of 51 and raining all day.
Heavy rains all day. Town has some puddles.
Couple of inches of rain around the gas pumps. Amargosa is running high, but not over the road yet.
Jeff bought us dinner at the Crowbar, very good. John and Jeff walking home in the rain.
High of 51 and raining. The clouds are hanging low. The highway south is closed. The highway east is flooded.
The water running out of the huge culverts under the road on the south side. The river is now up to the road level looking north. Probably 5 or 6 feet deep here.
Starting to run over the road, it will go over before this over, all the water from the north is still coming. The bus is high and dry.
The rain mostly stopped , but not enough sun got through for a brilliant sunset.
Desert shaggy manes are popping up after the rain. The colors were beautiful this afternoon.
The river is still running high. It rained again last night and brought it back up. It was 6 inches over the road this morning, but now is just lapping the edge. A lot of water for a river that is usually just a trickle.
Sunset. There is snow on the Kingston and Nopah range this morning.
Mr Bill is sitting in the Terex just like in a chair.
