High of 60, sunny and windy.
I wrapped this dichroic glass moon I made. I beaded the top two pendants. The bottom two I had previously beaded, but today I added the ruffle around the edge.
Goldfield has slow donkeys. Blooming fruit trees on main street.
Goldfield is basically a ghost town that a few people live in. Most of the buildings are abandoned and falling apart. Many old cars and RV's are in yards. And lots of tumbleweeds. Subway entrances- but no subways here.
Art cars at the art museum and gift shop. Out of town is the car forest which is a lot of old vehicles planted nose down into the dirt. Lots of art on the vehicles. Interesting place.
Part of main street. We were on our way to the Santa Fe saloon, the oldest continuously running bar in town. John having a bud. His other choice was Coors. It was probably not much different than when the miners used to drink there after a hard day at work back in the day.
Santa Fe hotel rooms with a tram tower from one of the many mines around town. We are staying at the Miner's camp, a new RV park in town.
The Northern Saloon and Cafe was closed, but they had antique beer. Next door was Mozart's and the skeleton drank water. John in an arch, that is all that is left of the building.
No idea what these guys are, but had a photo op here. Sunset over town.
Sunset out our front window.
