High of 68, mostly sunny and windy.
We drove up into the Kingston Mountains with Roger, Toni and Cam to see the nolina. They are a huge type of yucca. the only place they bloom around here is in the Kingston mountains. With the bloom they are over 12 feet tall.

These flowers are so huge it was almost as awesome as standing in the redwoods. Spider web, mushroom , Desert sage buds and blooms, chia, turpentine bush, nolina blooms closeup, nolina blooms fallen into the leaves of the nolina.

A big rainstorm moved in. It hailed on us on the way home and there was thunder. Dork rock.
