September 12, 2012 Burlington, VT

Our mail did not come today. So our hosts, The Mazza farm market graciously let us park here another day. We headed to downtown Burlington, Vt. Burlington is the biggest city in Vermont. It has around 50,000 people. We started touring the Chocolate factory, then nice Burlington has about 10 breweries, we tasted beer at a couple, and had dinner at the last one.

Lake Champlain Chocolates. Making Chocolate. All of their ingredients, except the beans-which is mostly the chocolate- are local.

Since I forced John to go to the Chocolate factory we checked out a couple of the 10 breweries in Burlington. The Vermont Brewery- where we also had dinner, John going in and up at the Magic Hat Brewery, The Switchback and the Zero gravity breweries.

Meanwhile back at the farm, the bull from the petting zoo. We decided to try their corn maze. It closed in one hour so the young man who sold me the tickets said to do the short maze(the right third) it was only a mile. The long one to the left is 2 miles. I was leading the way, and it is a really hard maze, too many turns, we got lost immediately. It was a miracle that we made it back out. I wanted to try it again, backwards, but John refused to go back in, it was really hard.

This is another map, the dark lines are the paths. Way too many.
