Yesterday we drove over the Maine side of the White Mountains. We camped at Hickey campground. It was rainy, then it got down to 34 degrees last night. We made it to outside Bangor today, but so much driving we were too tired to go anywhere. We are at Pleasant Valley campground . It is a commercial campground, with hook ups and internet. I did laundry. Pretty boring. Letting the battery get a full charge before we go back to generator in Arcadia. And catch up on the internet. We have not had any in the back country, and may not in Arcadia either.
Maine, finally. We have been headed here since May! The information center near Evans Notch. It was closed when we went by.
