Nice foggy, dizzily day at Cape Lookout.
We are going to hike out to the point you can’t see in the fog. About 5 miles round trip. Nice green, misty trail.
So far so good with the new boots. Sue by a BIG tree.
Looking straight down 500 feet of cliff to the ocean. Foam from the waves below the point.
Still looking straight down 500 feet. Twisty trees.
Mossy trees, Sue in a BIG stump.
Looking down at the beach by the campground from a view point above. Looking back at the point we hiked too.
Sword fern growing over deer ferns, hemlock needles precipitate out the moisture from the fog, it rains under them, wet spider webs, and an unknown fern over deer fern.
Wood sorrel, prunella, seed head, golden rod, some kind of pink mint flower, white flower, gross slug and drippy moss.
