We left Stage Coach Reservoir and went to Wolford Reservoir outside of Kremmling. We had wanted to go somewhere like Grand Lake so we could see Rocky Mountain National Park, but anywhere near it is full.
Our basil plants stowed for travel. It is really, really green now.
Lake Catamount from the pass on the way south. The coach at our campsite at Wolford reservoir.
The Wolford reservoir campground. It is a little barren, no trees at all. No showers, but we do have 30 amp electric. John does not like it because they said $20 camping fee, but when we arrived they added a $5 per vehicle fee, including our towed vehicle-which on one else does, so it is $30. The surrounding area is lovely. We went into Kremmling to grocery shop. A nice looking small town in the valley , surrounded by beautiful mountains.
Thunder showers have been rolling in and out all afternoon. Each one about the time I was outside to do something like bike or fish. We had to dodge storms to eat dinner outside too. The rain sounds wonderful in the bus and it is fun to watch the lightening.
Rain on it’s way in while I was fishing. Sunset and a small rainbow after the storm.
More sunset colors and rainbow.
Sunset colors at the edge of the storm.
