We went back up to Trail Ridge Road to stop and look over the overlooks and visit the visitors center.
Poudre Lake is the source of the Poudre River. The Poudre river valley from above
Snow banks by the visitors center. Alpine tundra.
Looking west into the Never Summer range. Looking east into a glacial cirque valley.
Gasp, there was no air on this hike up above the visitors center. An antelope ground squirrel mistakenly thought I might feed him.
Linda Bell who I used to work with came up to their family lodge here in Grand Lake and stopped by for dinner with us. It was fun to visit with her.
