On our way from Glendo to the RV rally in Gillette.
Downtown Douglas, Wyoming. No Wyoming town is complete with out antlers somewhere. Douglas is the Jackalope capital of the world. They have a Jackalope square. The bus at the visitors center and a Jackalope hunting license.
The worlds biggest Jackalope stature, the worlds second largest Jackalope statue and I don’t know where the painted jackalope fits size wise to the world. They had a great train display at the visitors center too. I remember riding on these old Amtrak trains.
Everything Jackalope, crossing, benches, saddled, stuffed, caged etc. Also Double D liquors.
The scenery between Douglas and Gillette. The Thunder basin grasslands. Very, very green. The bus at the RV rally.
Coaches as far as the eye can see, and this is the night before the official beginning. There are over a 1000 already, with more arriving tomorrow. Sunset over Gillette.
