November 15-16, 2020 Bluff, Utah to Lyman Lake State Park, Arizona

 55 degrees and sunny.

The top of this photo is all that remains of the Great House ruin above Bluff, Utah. The bottom part is the kiva that was excavated. The Bluff cemetery looking east. It is interesting in that the graves are covered with rocks.

The Bluff cemetery looking west. The view to the north from the Bluff Cemetery.

Historical houses in Bluff, Utah.

Colorful rocks surrounding Bluff, Utah. The artwork in the Bluff City Park.

We drove 250 miles today across the Navajo nation. Horses on the road.  It is closed due to covid, but you can still drive through. Too bad there were some places we wanted to see, but closed this year. The Navajo Nation has had the highest death rate from covid than any other part of the US. They are quarantined. I love the stand 2 sheep apart.

John has his own town. Entering St Johns. We are camped at Lyman Lake State Park near St. Johns, Arizona. It was 75 degrees when we arrived so I put my boat in the water and paddled around.

Reflected fall colors on my boat ride today. We had to pass up the Hubble Trading Post  National Historic site, closed because of Covid. Canyon De Chelly was also closed. We are camped at Lyman Lake State Park, I saw about 30 these blue birds playing in the water on the lake, also coots and grebes.
