Right below Truth Or Consequences are two reservoirs on the Rio Grand River. This is what the mighty Rio Grande looks like below those dams. Orchards along the road. We are thinking either pecans or pistachios, but don't know for sure.
We passed through Hatch, New Mexico, Chili Capital, Hot Damm Chili, Hatch Chili express, and a couple of the statues seen in town. More statues around beautiful historic downtown Hatch, New Mexico. we are not camped at Faywood Hot springs.
Our friend Bev came down from Silver City to visit. She rented this cute casita. We had a nice soak, then we had dinner at our place. Then soaked again.

The tent sites were very nicely screened from each other with foliage. We drove up to Silver City to visit our friend Bev. Bev and John at Bev's front door.

Beautiful, historic downtown Silver City. After our tour of downtown we went to the Little Toad Creek Brewery and Distillery for dinner.
John and Bev at the brewery. They have been friends for 50 years. John at Little Toad Creek Brewery and distillery with his Grumpy Old Troll IPA. John says it is named after him. They also distill Tequila there. It was quite good and smooth, so I purchased a bottle.
