High 60's and partly cloudy, bit of rain today.

John replacing the seal on the toilet. The trailhead for  Young Gulch is right across the street from the campground. Some of the hazards-Flash flooding, rattle snakes, mountain lions. But the sign says Tall canyon walls, a babbling brook and lush vegetation have mead Young Gulch popular for recreation for the past 100 years. It was lovely. A geranium and paintbrush.

Fall colors along the trail. A stand of aspen.

John on the first bridge over the creek. It is hunting season so we are wearing orange vests. Fall colors and blue sky.

Tricolor poison ivy, red bush and clematis seed heads, moss campion and white aster. Fall tricolor hillside.

Young Creek. Hare bells, yellow aster, mullein, and thistle.

We ran into a nice lady who took a photo of us with the fall color. Sunshine down in the valley below as we hike out.

Narrows. This couple were having some wedding photos taken in this scenic canyon.

Two nice ladies camped next to us in this cute trailer. Mandy and John drove up from Fort Collins and brought brauts for dinner. Mandy, John and John cooking dinner in our lovely campsite.
