June 6-7, 2024 Mountain Home, Idaho to Snowville, Utah

High of 84 and mostly cloudy.

The other side of Sheen's Mountain on our way east. We were on the west side yesterday. Welcome to Idaho and Thanks for visiting Oregon. You're welcome Oregon.

We went through the watercraft inspection station going into Idaho. John has been waiting for this, the last time the boats were in the water was in Death Valley. So he tells the inspector that and he does not even bat an eye. I suspect he does not even know where Death Valley is.  This must be Lizard Butte in Jorden Valley, Oregon. Looks like a toupee.

We are now parked at Mountain Home RV resort in Mountain Home, Idaho. Looks like a carnival will open this weekend here.

John took me out to dinner for our 18th anniversary tonight at Shiok. Shiok means is a word used to express sheer pleasure, happiness and great satisfaction. Being married to John is shiok! The food was good too. John and I on our 18th anniversary.

My friend Diana gave me her old mountain bike when we were in Bend. Mine got stolen last fall. It is great to have a bike again. It needs a tune up, but works great to ride around on. Thanks Diana! Sunset tonight

High in the mid 90's. Cool looking storm building on our 184 mile drive today. Welcome to Utah, Welcome to camp Quitcherbitchin, A certified happy camper area, You don't have to be crazy to camp with us, we can train you!

We are camped at the Hitching Post in Snowville, Utah. Cool campground on an old farm in a rural area. We have camped her many times. New management this year, they added the Grub Hub a small dinner.

We had a huge rainstorm come through. Then rewarded with a nice rainbow.

View south. Another rainbow in sunset.

The rainbow landed on our pot of gold, the bus. Home sweet home. Sunset was stunning.
