We hiked to the Blue Pool today. John on the trail. McKenzie river along the trail.

Mossy rocks along the trail. Anemone, pacific dogwood, stone crop,
wintergreen, collomia, and monkey flowers.
The Blue Pool. The water is filtered through lava rock under ground and comes up here in the pool. It is so pure that it absorbs all colors except blue. It is stunning. McKenzie river with mossy rocks from the cliff above it. .

Stream and ferns, river and moss.
Tree roots filled with rocks. Side stream.
Wild rose, collomia, stone crop, white wild iris, cool tree roots, white iris, dogwood, and calypso orchid. Koosa falls farther up the road is a 90 foot high falls.
Sahalie falls is a 120 foot drop. Clear lake is the head waters of the McKenzie river and it is spring fed.
Pine needle baskets at the McKenzie Bridge general store and Obsidian grill where we had dinner.
