Harmony Borax works was one of the first borax mines in Death Valley. They shoveled the borax off the valley floor and concentrated it here. They they put it in huge wagons that hold 36 tons and had the 20 mule teams take them down to Mohave to the train. You can see my bike in front of one of the middle big wheels. These are really big wagons. The last wagon carries water. The trip took 10 days.
