Last nights sunset was lovely.

end of the sunset. Today we hiked to Redwall Canyon. The walls are very red.

And it gets narrower.

A dry fall, and the chock stone in the fall where we stopped and had lunch.

Heading back out

And out. The view of the opposite side of Death Valley from almost the mouth of the canyon.

The rocks at the mouth of the canyon looked like they were melting. There were lots of contorted rocks in the canyon, and a jumping cholla.

Looking back at the canyon from the car. The canyon is where the cliffs turn from red to black. It is 2.5 miles away and 1000 feet vertical. All over an alluvial fan (pictured in the next photo) They are hard to hike because they are cut up with dry stream beds and huge rocks. Every step rolls.
