Camped at Red Rocks, then on to Bullhead City. I didn’t realize we crossed the time zone, and it is an hour later here in Arizona. The afternoon has a extra hour of light.
Our camp spot at Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas for before and after the maintenance. And our view of Red Rocks from the campsite.
Driving down into Laughlin, NV. We camped at Davis Dam park, right on the Colorado River under palm trees. The bus is under the first ramada there. We camped here last spring and loved it.
Nice and warm, 75 degrees. Little bit of sun bathing. . . I took my boat out and paddled up river to the dam, and took a few more shots of the campground. The water is so clear you can see the bottom pretty far out.
The cormorants line up on the power line over the river for the night. The bus at sunset.
Sunset over the river. As beautiful as this beach is, it is a dirty park. I picked up a grocery bag full of cigarette butts, bottle caps, rusty nails, broken glass, dog poop and miscellaneous camp garbage from our site and beach. Boo.
