50's and rainy. 

  

Sunrise this am was about the only time any sun made it through the clouds. Beautiful sunrise. Makes it worth getting up at the scream of before dawn. The fabric on the window covering around one of the windows is torn and frayed. So we are getting it replaced. I had to choose a fabric this am for it. This was as close as I could come. I am sure it will be fine. Update, they don't have the fabric anymore or any that matches, so we are not having it done. I bought some fabric, see what I can do. . . 

We went on a nice walk at Dorris Ranch today with Leslie and Scott. It was rainy, but the forest  and the fall colors were pretty. John and Scott on the trail. John's camo jacket works so well here it is hard to see him.

Red gum tree leaves on the lawn and a wet newt. The new masterpiece is coming along. Stay tuned.

Lots of lumber mills here, these huge logs drove by us today. Rainy so no sunset colors, just this light then nothing.

Halloween decorations. Look what ran into the bus! Sunset tonight.

Woo hoo!! We have working slides!! They have been broken for the last couple weeks, so we have not been putting them out. It is like having a ballroom in the front. John doing a happy dance to have room. They had to remove the molding over the livingroom/ kitchen area and the molding underneath the  kitchen cabinets and the couch to manually move the slide in and out to bleed the air out of the system before they call it done. Then put the house back together. In the bedroom the mattress went almost to the wall, so it was almost impossible to get around the bed. John had to climb over me. And we had to climb over the bet to get to the closet and couldn't even get into the left side.There is a towel over the window in the bedroom. They have really bright street lights in this parking lot. We are looking at getting black out shades for the bedroom. The basket is getting taller.
