77 sunny and windy.
I feels like being in a campground with Bec and Emmett camped behind us. Lots of fun. Bec and Judy on the white Bluff trail this afternoon.
Emmett is bike riding up the trail at us hiking down. View on the trail.
Cool tiny holes in the rocks. Downtown Shoshone. The neon sign in the foreground has been restored and flashes at night. It is a step back in time here.
81 and sunny. I am working on a row of green needles now with green beads. Coming along. Grimshaw wetlands outside of Tecopa this evening.
We had a scrumptious dinner and a great time at Steak and Beer tonight. Judy D, Susan, Bec, Em, Judy P and John. Sunset from dinner.
We sat on the outside deck above the pond for dinner at Steak and Beer. The basket with another row on it. The lighter natural needles will be the last row.
Frances got a new buddy today, another snake, coiled and ready to strike. Bec and Emmett inside their Sports Mobile having lunch. I was getting the tour. They are sitting on the bed, which folds up into a couch during the day. The 2nd floor could be used as another bed, but they removed it and use it for storage.
Happy hour on our patio before a delicious dinner of butternut, coconut milk soup, salad and my homemade bread. We drove to Beatty today to spend the night before the ladies leave on their Beatty to Badwater hike. It is 170 miles and will take them two weeks. On the way up we cached food and water for each night. Bec and Judy.
Eagle Mountain. Lunch after another cache in the desert.
We past the Alien Sky bar, the Area 51 Alien Center, you can't see it but there is also the Alien Cathouse Brothel.
Almost full moon along over colorful hills. Judy P, John, Bec and Judy D burying food and water for their hike. 65 degrees and sunny.
Beautiful, historic, downtown Beatty, Nevada. Palm trees at the Death Valley Inn.
We will stay at the Death Valley Inn in Beatty tonight. Fruit tree in bloom.
Sunset and moon from the Death Valley Inn. There are a bunch of wild burros in town. They left burro apples on the sidewalk at the Inn. The apples are all over the property.
