Judy and Judy leaving Tecopa. They are hiking from here to Death Valley in the next 6 days. John and I had breakfast at the Kit Fox Cafe. A new bakery and cafe that opened two weeks ago. The food was yummy and it is next door to the Tecopa Brewery which has these masks on the front door.
The forecast said snow in Shoshone tonight and rain in Death Valley, so we headed to Death Valley. Cool hoo doos coming into Death Valley. The wind was blowing so much dust you could not see across the valley.

We had a nice rain last night and woke up to snow on the mountains on both sides of the valley,
Flowers were blooming where there were water leaks. Desert gold and phacilia. We drove by this sea level sign coming into Death Valley. Furnace creek is 192 feet below sea level. One way to make an RV, put a trailer on a flatbed! This huge Man truck was at the visitors center. It is a serious 4 wheel drive rig.

Cool mud hills and clouds. It was a pleasant afternoon sitting in the sun reading. I worked on my basket.
John cooked Jeff and I a wonderful dinner. Jeff and John after dinner talking about when they worked together at the Fire Dept. Sunset tonight.
