68 and sunny. Since Connie was here with her tuck we did a shuttle hike. We hiked the Red Tanks Tinaja trail 6.4 miles back to camp. It was a beautiful trail. All of us are not in the best shape, so we were pretty tired at the end. butterfly with a fairy duster flower, Caution: smuggling and or illegal immigration are common in this area due to the proximity to the international border,. tarantula, and yellow flower. Connie posing at the Red Tanks Tinaja. These are  pot holes of water left from the last rain. These are important water sources for the local wildlife.

The trail follows the arroyo. John and Connie behind me.

Beautiful sonoran desert scenery. Sunset from camp.

A rainy day in the desert is a nice change.
