December 19-21, 2022 Organ Pipe National Monument, Arizona

65 and sunny. Another nice day to hang out in the sun.

I beaded the bezels on these two pieces.  The first one is 1 1/8 x 1/4 inches. The fused dichroic glass is beveled, and polished.  The second piece1 1/4 x 3/8 inches with fused dichroic glass.  At different angles it is either blue or silver.

No clouds for sunset tonight. The bus at sunset. Alpen glow in the west.

66 ,high clouds and haze most of the day. We drove to Ajo today to go to the grocery store. Ajo is a really cute town with an adobe square downtown. Entering Ajo, Welcome to Ajo/ The Grinch was at the grocery store.

John loves this grocery store because they have Jimjim sized bags of the chips he likes. Nice clouds this afternoon when it began to clear.

Sunset was spectacular.

The sunset clouds wrapped themselves around the cactus.

John made green chili, BBQ smoked pork tamales for dinner. Yum yum. The store was out of dry masa flour so he got premade masa (masa + water). It did not have as good a flavor as the dry mix. but the tamales were great, esp with the salsa we picked up in Hatch, NM. 68 degrees and sunny. Another relaxing day. John reading and I worked on my map of our travels.

I caught us up on our travel map. I kind of stalled about a year ago, I still need to add the dates, but at least we are where we are on the map now.
