75 and sunny.
We woke up in Willcox to very dense fog. We had to wait for it to clear before leaving for Tucson. View on the way to Tucson.
Another view on the way to Tucson. We are parked at Pima County Fair grounds just east of Tucson. 75 and sunny.
Our view at sunset. The almost full moon rising.
I am now working on this masterpiece with the roses. I have not decided how to do the leaves, but I think this does not work. The pine needles are dark green, but they are a bit damp so they look black. I added beads to this basket and I like it a lot better now. 4 x 3 1/2 inches. Dyed pine needles, polyester thread , glass beads and a glass center that I fused.
I also finished this basket made from dyed pine needles, polyester thread, glass beads and I fused the glass center. It has a small turtle bead at the end of the coil. It is 5 x 2 inches. We had the bus washed and waxed. This guy did it last year when we were here and he did such a good job John had him do it again this year. He spent at least 3 hours on it. 75 and sunny again today in Tucson.
I went to Gem World and bought some beads. I love the Gem World in Quartzsite and I had heard this one was better. It is an amazing store, prices are great, but I think the Quartzsite one is better. A view of the mountains east of Tucson as we were shopping and stocking back up.
63 and partly cloudy. I rode my bike around the fairgrounds to get out in the nice weather. The clouds were pretty. These two roses remind me of the basket I am working on with two rose centers.
It is still amazing to me that it is warm enough here this late in the year for there to still be roses. I lived too long in the mountains I guess. The Cantina has this interesting looking foliage around it.
Fall leaves. The sun rays coming through the holes in the clouds.
I love these clouds with these trees. I like them so much I also took one with the palm trees.
Sunset tonight over the RV park.
