Beautiful sunny, 70’s degree day, perfect on the lake, smooth, the boats just glide with each stroke.
Baker mountain reflected in the lake by the campground. John paddling toward Mt Shuksan.
John next to an enormous stump. This area was logged, probably in the 1800’s, long before the lake. Mt Shuksan reflected.
You can look below you and see the huge stumps, there is one in the foreground underwater. Suep and Mt Baker.
Big stumps with Baker and Shuksan.
John among the stumps. These were really big trees. John on a sandbar where we went swimming .
The lake is such a pretty color and it changes with the light. Tree roots along the shore.
Mt Shuksan gets the last light in the evening and the lake is like glass.
