It rained the last three days. It finally broke some time this morning. The ground is squishy. But we went out on a short hike to the visitors center and checked out places we want to go.
Trail, still green. The clouds are breaking up, but no views yet.
Moss in the forest. The river is bluing back up, clouds breaking.
Mushroom, stellar jay, cobweb, tiny mushrooms sprouting after the storm. Really, really gross big (2-3 inches) black slug. I am not going to go barefoot in this area again, what if I step on one of those!
Diana , Robert and John enjoying happy hour. We met Diana and Robert at the last campground and we are in the same one this week. We share a love of hiking and good beer!
