89, sunny and a bit windy.
We walked from Furnace Creek Inn to the Furnace Creek Ranch, one mile away. The Ranch in the distance. It was a bit windy so the dirt in the air was obscuring the Panamint Mountains across the valley. Some desert gold near the spring run off.
There were a few flowers near the spring run off. Phacelia, lone desert gold and creosote bushes in full bloom. We toasted my late brother in law this evening. We were going to have dinner at an outside table at the dining room, but the wind canceled outside dining, so we got to go dinners and had them at our casita.
Jill my niece, Judy my sister and I. Sunset.
Sunset from the garden. The moon rising above the garden.
Good morning Death Valley. John driving the golf that came with our casita. He is taking our luggage to the car. I think that is the only time we used it, we walked the rest of the times.
Twenty Mule Team Canyon on our way out of Death Valley. Hiking the loop in Shoshone when we got back.
Wooly daisy, monkey flower, purple mat and pygmy poppy. Hiking the loop in Shoshone when we got back.
Dinner on our patio. Sunset.
Full worm moon rising. The basket is coming along!
