November 13, 2023 Cannon Beach, Oregon

High of 55 , no wind and surprising sunny. It had been predicted to rain.

Looking out the window this morning--What is that light?? It was predicted to rain, but it was sunny. I finished this basket. It is made with purple and red/brown  dyed pine needles, polyester thread, glass beads and the center is a piece of glass I fused. It is 6 x 7 x 2 1/2 inches.

I also wrapped these two pieces of dichroic glass I made in sterling silver wire. We are now at Cannon Beach.

The shore is so flat the big waves are way, way out. This is a close up. John walking in front of Haystack Rock.

Some other cool sea stacks. All these signs were at the tide pool area by Haystack Rock. They won't let you walk out there, it is a state protected marine garden.

Beach labyrinth. Art around Cannon Beach.

Sun setting in Whale park. John with his IPA at Bill's Tavern and brewery.

Sunset. I have been making these spicy chili cinnamon almond chocolates. I was making them in a flat sheet and cutting them up in squares. But I found these cool candy molds. Look pretty fancy now.

Close up of the chocolates.
