November 20-21, 2023 Eugene, Oregon

High of 42 and foggy.

We left the coast and drove to Eugene.  Moss on the trees along the river. When we reached Eugene it was foggy and cold.

We stopped at Oregon Motor Coach. John got an estimate on a minor bit of body work he wants done to be scheduled later when we come back for yearly maintenance  and they worked on our heat pump that has only been working intermittently. They got us in and out in a few hours. When we arrived the lot was packed with RV's. We parked by the one in the middle in the top photo when we arrived. The bottom is the lot to the left of the top photo.

We got our work done and then they had to maneuver the the bus through the maze to get it out. Top photo our bus is in the back on the right. Below John is standing by it as they were bringing it out. While in the waiting room I finished this basket. And one of the customers bought it on the spot! I didn't even get time to admire it at home. It is 12 x 3 inches. Made with natural and dyed pine needles, polyester thread and glass beads. The center is a piece of glass I fused. It was kind of experimental and never did sell, but it was perfect for a basket.

Leslie and Scott had us for dinner tonight. Great to see them and a yummy dinner. Here Leslie, Scott and John are posing with some vintage glasses on. Autumn leaves in the campground. High of 61 and sunny.

The bus at Armitage park for a week. More foliage in the campground.

John adjusting the new hitch for the car on a sunny day. Yet more color.

Sunset may have been great, but there were a few trees in the way, I ordered this great  booklet and look what I made, on the right, from a piece of dichroic glass I fused. Not bad for the first try.
