High of 54. It started out cloudy and miraculously it was sunny in the afternoon. We went to Ecola State Park.
The view from Ecola View point. When we first came here maybe 13 years ago we hiked down to Crescent Beach on the left and John harvested mussels. This time the trail is closed due to land slides. I love the sun in the mist in the trees.
The view of Tillamock lighthouse from Ecola Point. It is no longer in use, it was too hard to maintain and get to and from. There is now a big light buoy. Indian creek coming onto Indian Beach.

We walked to the end of Indian Creek beach, sat on a big log and watched the waves. John on the log on the beach watching waves.

On the trail to the viewpoint there were these huge old growth trees. And ferns.

Huge mossy stump and huge tree. Pre sunset. I always wish the clouds would hang around for sunset, but they usually dissipate.
