Bisbee Arizona. Used to be a mining town, now more of a tourist, artist enclave.
The remnants of the big copper mine outside Bisbee. Long horn cow
Tombstone Arizona. Wyatt Earp, shoot out at the OK corral- cute restored western town, totally, gacky tourist town.
Stage coach rides. John in front of the old Tombstone Fire station, it is now the senior center. It say on the door ‘no weapons beyond this point’
one of the hundreds of galleries, the Ok Corral, you have to pay to go in and see it.
The OK café next door to the Wells Fargo RV park. Darn we could have stayed here for an inflated price. The courthouse.
The worlds largest rose tree, $5 to go in and see it. Former Tombstone resident.
Superstition Sue’s gift shop, John must not be a politician, he has no shit on his boots.
Next stop, Arizona Wine Country. About 80 miles south of Tucson, in the middle of no where. 11 wineries. Even in the middle of no where there were lots of people out tasting. It is green 6 weeks in the spring when it rains, then again from mid July thru August, when the monsoons come.
We stayed at Sonoita Vineyards, another Harvest Host. John in the tasting room, which was full when we arrived chatting with the bar tender(wine taster guy??) One of the cool things about traveling is getting to meet and talk with the locals.
It is warm enough here for spring flowers. Here are some of the vineyards. They are still dormant this time of year.
Sonoita Vineyards, the bus parked at the vineyards. Out in the middle of no where, absolutely quiet and dark at night. Nice stars at night.
Sunset on Arizona wine country.
