June 21-22, 2021 The south fork of the Salmon River, Idaho

Very peaceful here by myself with the crew gone kayaking for a few days.

This is the view outside the bedroom window when I wake up. Love it. The rocks where I have been soaking in the cool river are here, two little waterfalls, lots of little bubbles. The river is going down and the one on the left is disappearing.

Blue flowers in the grass at camp. These silly Columbian ground squirrels have a hole near our campsite. This one is eating currants off the tree by the bus.

I rode my bike up the east fork of the south fork of the Salmon river. A few rapids on the river.

Another burn on the east fork of the south fork of the Salmon river. I was so hot and tired when I got back that I soaked in the river, then took a nap in my lawn chair. Was woken up by light rain. Last time we were here I saw a big smoke plume up here, right before we left. Pretty scary. Finally got some clouds for sunset.
