Beautiful, historic downtown Baker, Ca. We got 10 gallons of fuel in Baker at $6.69 a gallon so we could make it to Barstow where it was only $5.99 a gallon. Had to run the credit card twice. So we got 55 gallons of fuel for $340. 54. We still have 742 miles to go to Eugene for maintenance on the bus.
On the west side of Tehachapi Pass in the rolling hills and oak trees. We are at the Orange Grove RV park east of Bakersfield. The RV park is in an orange grove. The pool here.

There are oranges on the trees, so a few found their way into the bus. I finished this basket yesterday. It is 8 x 6 1/2 x 2. Made with natural and dyed pine needles, polyester thread, and glass beads. I fused the glass center. With a bonus turtle bead on the side.

We topped off the propane. It was $59 for 16 gallons. Much more than usual. A labyrinth at the Vista Ranch in the vegetable garden.

I started this basket. I had these fuchsia needles, pink thread and rose beads I wanted to make into a basket. I found a pink rose quartz at the glass expo and stared this . Will see how it comes out. The bus at Vista Ranch Vineyard. We even have 50 amp power and water.
Almonds in the orchard we are camped next too. Backlit willows and the bottle of Basecamp Zin we purchased and had for dinner. John took this of me at dinner tonight overlooking vineyards and orchards.
