April 1-2, 2022 Shoshone, California

 86 and sunny today.

We drove to Pahrump, NV today to get our covid booster shots. Afterwards John got a medicinal banana malt at Seemoore's the Worlds Tallest Ice Cream stand.

After my covid booster I rested in my lawn chair and added moonstone beads and a couple more rows to the masterpiece. It is now 8 1/2 inches in diameter. One of the local road runner stopped by again today. They have this cute way of cocking their tails, raising the crest on top of their head. It even chattered it's beak at us. I think the translations was  'I'm so cute, FEED ME!'

My sister Judy turned 80 years old today. We had a small happy hour to celebrate. Judy with her 80th  birthday cake. She is not slowing down yet. She and Judy D backpacked 20 miles and 3000 vertical the last two days! I don't think I will get old till she starts to.

Took Judy D's painting class today. Judy giving a little presentation. My first painting, the view and the painting. I was not on top of it today.

Judy and Judy. Amy.

Susan. Donna and Liz.

.

Molly. My second painting with the view and painting.

John meanwhile was smoking pork for the pot luck tomorrow night. Susan painting.

Hanging the art for the show. The art!

Molly was still adding finishing touches at the last minute. The class, back row me and Donna. Next row Judy and Liz and front Judy D, Molly, Susan and Amy. A great time!

The current masterpiece has a couple more rows.
