January 3-4, 2023 Cattail Cove State Park, Lake Havasu, Arizona

 63 and mostly sunny.

The bus at our campsite at Cattail Cove State Park on Lake Havasu. The beach on Lake Havasu at the campground.

Lemon tree in the campground. John on the lakeside trail.

Pickles Forever! A wash off the trail.

Cliffs  on Lake Havasu. The sun behind the cliff in California across the lake.

13 kinds of rattlesnakes in Arizona. Sunset on the beach at the campground.

The sun is not rising till 743 am, even I was up for it today. It was cloudy so we made an attempt to make chili chocolate. We got sugar overload and some pretty spicy chocolate.

High of 67 and it was cloudy most of the day. The sun came out in the late afternoon. The campground from the beach.

Grackle. Noisy little birds. Sunset was spectacular, it just keep getting better and better.

Coot on the lake at sunset. I was walking back to camp and turned around and sunset was even brighter. Went back down and took this.

I finished this lovely basket. 8 x 7 1 1/2 inches. Made with natural and dyed pine needles, polyester cord, glass and metal beads. The center is a glass frog I cast from recycled wine bottles. there are 2 frogs, a fish, a lady bug and a spiral.
