67 and mostly cloudy with a trace of rain.
We hiked to Wylie's Rest, a boat in or hike in campsite. The view from Wylie's rest. Lake Havasu is such a beautiful color. Havasu means blue green water and it is.
Reflection of red cliffs in the lake. We had lunch here at the picnic table by the 'iron ranger'- the pipe you are supposed to drop your pay envelope in. There were signs all over saying it was a fee site and to pay $10 per day. Even on the lid of the toilet in the restroom (pay toilet), but no envelopes.
The water was coolish, but felt good after my hot boots. John on the trail back.
Dry washes off the trail.
Red rocks. You can see where the last rainstorm drained into this wash.
John heading toward the trail we did not take because we liked the lake views better. Red rocks.
I love the color of this lake. Cool water trails behind this coot.
Rain moving in. We barely got a trace. Another gorgeous sunset tonight.
Almost full moon rising in the sunset. Sunset and moon over the campground.
