We are finally done with our repairs and heading out!!
Sunset Halloween night. Also our last night at Oregon Motor Coach. Larry and Ann Marie dressed up for Halloween. They always have the best costumes.
John, Leslie, Scott, Larry and Ann Marie at the Plank Brewery for brews and burgers night. Our farewell dinner. We left the next morning for the coast and drove though moss covered trees and fall colors.
Our coach at the Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. The state park (in the gray) is right up against the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area- then the ocean.
John climbing up a steep dune to the recreation area. It was very, very windy. We got sandblasted.
OHV’s are allowed on this part of the dunes. The wind made great sculptures out of the OHV tracls. Since it is midweek, November, cold and windy the OHV’s stayed home. So the dunes were quiet and very pretty. The wind erased most of their tracks.
Wind sculpting of the old tracks.
More of the track windsculpting. The sand and wind forms were wonderful. So may textures.
Cool textures in the sand. The last one is OHV tracks filled in with tiny sand dunes.
It was sunny most of the day, but there were clouds too. Partly sunny I guess. John grinning.
A flock of geese flew over. A couple mushrooms , wind forms, a dragon fly and some OHV tracks on a sand face.
The OHV’s drive between these islands of sea grass and the wind forms dunes. More filled in tracks.
Cool shapes and shadows. Sunset over ocean behind the dunes.
